The Old Police Cells Museum opens for the summer season on April 1st from 10AM to 12.30PM. Visitors will be greeted by Police Cadets, a Police Dog and an old Panda car on the forecourt of Brighton Town Hall, which houses the Sussex Police Museum.
We hope to see you there . If you are unable to join us we will be delighted to greet you on any day of the week at 10.30 AM for a regular tour except on Sundays when we are closed.


Brighton Festival at the Old Police Cells

We are pleased to announce that once again a number of productions will be staged in the cells and the sub-basement of the museum during the Brighton Festival.

The eerie subterranean atmosphere, imbued with the spectres of Victorian criminals and murderers, provides a unique venue for performers and spectators alike.


Donations to the museum can be made in a variety of ways:
