You can now get a history fix and maybe even spot a ghost while you’re getting married

The old police cells in the basement of Brighton Town Hall has been licensed for ceremonies. Brighton has had a constable since the 13th century and the cells were the town’s main police station from 1830 to 1967. They are now the museum of Sussex Police and a popular stop on ghost-hunting tours – it is reputedly haunted by Henry Solomon (pictured), the first chief constable of Brighton, who was murdered in 1844 by a prisoner attempting to escape his custody.
