Acting on behalf of Sussex Police Authority, Flude Commercial has sold the freehold of the former Police Station in Manor Road, Hurstpierpoint.

  • The old police station was demolished in the mid 60s.
    My father was the Sergeant at Hurstpierpoint from December 1961 until June 1970 and we lived in the house to the left of the small police station. In fact the small police station was built in what was our front garden

    Hazel was a local police officer in the 60s and 70s

    Hurstpierpoint Police Station was in Manor Road, Hurstpierpoint adjacent to Maxim Lamps Factory (now converted to mews houses) can’t remember when the police moved out probably at least 25 – 30 years ago! Small Police box/ building still in situ but hasn’t been occupied for years!
