  • I was talking about my Grandad Ward to my children tonight & told them to Google Fred Ward. However, I have just done it. I see my Aunty Sue beat me to it above! Grandad (to my knowledge) became Chief Superintendant of the West Sussex Police. He passed away when I was 19 (now 53). I remember my brother Richard and I used to spend many school holidays with him and my Nana, Stella in Lewes and later on in Seaford.
    Thank you for posting this.

  • Good to see this picture in your fab. website – just discovered! I remember this picture always hanging in our hallways of our various houses and often wondered if Dad was looking for clues to tell if we’d been naughty or not! I always liked the dog too. I’m sure he would have been honoured to be part of your collection. Strange to be looking at it from a house by the Pacific Ocean in New Zealand!
