Ashlie Bedwell & Spike Padley presents Loukussa at Old Police Cells Museum
An original piece devised and produced by students, tackling the adversities that teenagers face in this modern world and giving a voice to those who have previously been ignored. ‘Loukussa’ is the Finnish translation for ‘trapped’ and this piece highlights the many ways that teenagers are in fact trapped. A piece about struggling teenagers created by struggling teenagers. Based in the Old Police Cells, Loukussa makes you feel the darkness that young people have been absorbed in.
Exciting new production company, making thought provoking and politically powerful theatre. Founded and run by Ashlie Bedwell & Spike Padley.
